1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Chenbalo Ltd ("we", "us", "our", "the Company") and you ("the Customer", "you", "your") when you use our mobile phone repair services.

2. Definitions
- "Device" means the mobile phone, tablet, or other electronic device submitted for repair
- "Services" means the repair, diagnostic, or other services provided by us
- "Quote" means the estimated price provided for the Services
- "Warranty Period" means the 12-month period following completion of the repair
3. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a Device for repair, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms
- You are the legal owner of the Device or have the owner's authorisation to request repairs
- You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
- The Device is not stolen, blocked, or subject to any legal restrictions
4. Our Services
4.1 Repair Services
We provide mobile phone and tablet repair services including but not limited to:
- Screen replacement and repair
- Battery replacement
- Charging port repair
- Water damage treatment
- Camera repair
- Software troubleshooting
- General diagnostics
4.2 Service Delivery
Services are provided at our trading address by appointment only. To arrange an appointment:

Our trading address is: 7 Askrigg Walk, Manchester, M13 0WH. This is a home-based business operating by appointment. We do not accept walk-in customers.
4.3 Diagnostic Service
We offer a free diagnostic service to identify faults with your Device. If you choose not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis, no charge will apply for the diagnostic itself.
4.4 Service Limitations
We reserve the right to refuse service if:
- The Device appears to be stolen or subject to legal restrictions
- The required parts are unavailable or obsolete
- The repair is not economically viable
- The Device has been previously repaired in a way that compromises safety
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Quotations
- All prices quoted are in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive. Chenbalo Ltd is not currently VAT registered
- Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue
- Quotes are based on the initial assessment; if additional faults are discovered, we will contact you before proceeding
5.2 Payment
- Payment is due upon collection of the repaired Device
- We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards, and contactless payments
- All card payments are processed securely using PCI-DSS compliant payment terminals
- Card transactions will appear on your statement as "CHENBALO LTD" or "CHENBALO"
- A deposit may be required for parts ordered specifically for your repair
- Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel after parts have been ordered
5.3 Additional Charges
If during repair we discover additional faults beyond those initially diagnosed:
- We will contact you with an updated quote before proceeding
- If you decline additional repairs, you will only pay for the originally agreed work
- If additional work cannot be separated from the original repair, you may choose to proceed with the full repair or collect your Device unrepaired
6. Warranty
6.1 Warranty Coverage
All repairs come with a 12-month warranty covering:
- Defects in parts supplied by us
- Faults arising from our workmanship
- The specific repair carried out
6.2 Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does NOT cover:
- Accidental damage (drops, impacts, liquid damage) occurring after the repair
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification
- Damage caused by using incompatible accessories or chargers
- Normal wear and tear
- Software issues unrelated to our repair
- Faults with parts of the Device not repaired by us
- Devices that have been subsequently repaired by another party
6.3 Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim:
- Return the Device to us within the warranty period
- Provide proof of the original repair (receipt or reference number)
- We will assess the Device to determine if the fault is covered
- If the claim is valid, we will repair the Device at no additional cost
7. Customer Responsibilities
7.1 Before Submitting Your Device
You are responsible for:
- Backing up all data on your Device (we are not responsible for data loss)
- Removing SIM cards and memory cards unless required for the repair
- Removing any valuable accessories (cases, screen protectors)
- Providing your passcode/PIN if required for testing (or disabling locks)
- Disclosing any known faults or previous repairs
7.2 Device Collection
- You must collect your Device within 30 days of notification that the repair is complete
- If you fail to collect your Device within 90 days, we may dispose of it in accordance with applicable law
- Storage fees of 5 per week may apply after 30 days
8. Data and Privacy
8.1 Your Data
- We do not access personal data on your Device unless necessary for testing
- We strongly recommend backing up your data before submitting your Device
- We are not responsible for any data loss during repair
- Some repairs may require a factory reset, which will erase all data
8.2 Personal Information
Any personal information you provide to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR.
9. Liability
9.1 Our Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability for any repair is limited to the value of the repair performed
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We are not liable for data loss, loss of use, or loss of profits
9.2 Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If our services are not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you are entitled to:
- Request that we redo the service at no extra cost, or
- If we cannot fix it, receive a price reduction
9.3 Pre-Existing Faults
Some Devices may have pre-existing faults that only become apparent during or after repair (e.g., a cracked screen may have also damaged internal components). We will inform you of any such discoveries, but we are not liable for pre-existing conditions.
10. Manufacturer Warranty
Please note that third-party repairs may void your manufacturer's warranty. Before submitting your Device, please consider:
- Whether your Device is still under manufacturer warranty
- Whether the manufacturer offers repair services for your issue
- The implications of third-party repair on your warranty
We provide our own 12-month warranty on all repairs, but cannot reinstate any voided manufacturer warranties.
11. Cancellation and Refunds
11.1 Before Repair Begins
You may cancel your repair request at any time before the repair begins, at no cost.
11.2 After Repair Begins
Once a repair has commenced:
- You will be liable for the cost of any parts already fitted or ordered
- You may be liable for a reasonable charge for work already completed
11.3 Refunds
If we are unable to complete a repair or if the repair is unsatisfactory due to our fault:
- We will first attempt to remedy the issue
- If we cannot remedy the issue, you are entitled to a full or partial refund as appropriate

- We will investigate and provide a full response within 14 days
- If you remain unsatisfied, you may seek advice from Citizens Advice or pursue alternative dispute resolution

All content on our website (text, images, logos, design) is the property of Chenbalo Ltd and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
14. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these websites.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
18. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
